This is the view from WWS' premises, the Kallang Basin.
I love seeing this every Sunday when I do my volunteer thingy. Right beside our premises is the Kallang Water Venture, where those kayaks are from. There are students, and adults taking lessons from them or just renting kayaks and dragon boats. It's a pretty sight because it add color to the peaceful Kallang Basin.
Across, you can see the Pebble Bay condo.
Kallang Basin is drained by the Kallang, Geylang, Rochor and Whampoa rivers. It is part of Singapore's reservoir in the city.
As volunteers, it is very important to us that we keep the waterways clean and pollution free.
