Rain, Rain Go Away

My friend, Jen, and I went to Suntec City last weekend to visit the Fountain of Wealth. Unfortunately, it was raining and we have to wait till 7:00PM and hope for the rain to stop for us to be able to go near the fountain and make a wish.

While waiting, we visited the Koi Garden. Most of the people there are children, having the time of their life feeding the fishes. It was fun watching them enjoying themselves.

After the Koi Garden, we had a snack at Skinny Pizza. We ordered Squid Ink Pizza. It was so yummy. As the name of the place says, they serve thin crust pizza...so thin that it is actually crispy and it crumbles easily.

And finally, after that delicious snack, we headed back to the Fountain of Wealth. The rain has stopped and we just have to wait for the larger fountain to "take a break". We belong to the first batch to make a silent wish while extending our right arm and going around (clockwise) the little fountain in the middle (can you see it behind me?).

Fountain of Wealth was said to be the largest fountain in the world. I'm not sure how true it is though because I was not that impressed with it's size.
